The poems are intended by the author to be used for language and literacy learning. They can be transcribed into languages in which early childhood education is taught. The following ways are suggested for the use of the Poems Kit©: • Poems are read to the children in relationship to a theme or topic. • Children are encouraged to do actions to the poems. • Children are encouraged to discuss the poems. • Children are encouraged to do an individual or class drawing or painting about the poem. • Poems for each theme are displayed when a specific them is being implemented as part of the learning program at a height suitable for the children to “read” during indoor activities time. • Teachers and educators are encouraged to use the Poems Kit© to read the poems to children to encourage early language and literacy development.
